From humble beginnings to honorable homecare for all.
The story of Sandcastle.
Sandcastle was born out of frustration. A frustration brought on by a personal, unforgettable experience our founder Alexander Castillo went through with his grandpa. When his grandpa had a stroke and was diagnosed with cancer, his family had to move quickly to find the best, local homecare provider.
What seemed easy to do was actually very challenging. Between the missed calls, unreturned voicemails, impossible terms to meet, Alex and his family knew there had to be a better way.
That’s when Sandcastle Homecare was born. The business model would be simple: “care for others the exact same way I’d expect for my grandpa.” From Alex’s first childhood memory of making sandcastles at the beach with his grandpa, the name honors him and every senior we support.
Nearly a decade since our founding, we’re proud to call ourselves the market leader in the State of Florida. And though we serve thousands of clients around the State, our North Star is still the same as it was the day we opened: deliver the same quality of care for our clients as you would your most precious loved one!
